Starting this journey is definitely one of the most exciting things that has happened to me in a couple years. Furthering my education has been on my to-do list for years so after leaving the military, I went for it. I have to remind myself to stay motivated and remember that I am the only thing standing in my way.
Well said about you are the only one that can stand in your way!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your military service Wayne :-)
Glad you went for it (furthering your education). May the exciting start in IS101-3003, Fall 2023 light up your journey ^_^
Spoken like a true winner! Thank you so much for your service Wayne. Looking forward to collaborate this semester :)
ReplyDeleteFirstly, I would like to thank you for your service Wayne. Furthering your education and being an ex-military are already two things that most people will not do in life. You are ahead of the game, remember that! Motivation comes and goes, but there is one important part most people cannot do. To continue to persevere, even when you are lacking motivation! Keep persevering!
ReplyDeleteI totally understand you! Sometimes I remember that I have will power and wants to stop doing my homework hahaha. But I make the choice to keep going. Staying motivated is tough, but it definitely is what keeps all of us going.
ReplyDeleteVery accurate. Being disciplined will get you to your goals.
ReplyDeleteI totally get that we are our own greatest enemy but with enough discipline anything is possible. Good luck on the rest of your educational journey.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your services sir. My dad was navy as well so I know what means to be in military as well. My struggles for me is staying motivated. Because When I started doing thing. For example working out or something today but I don't see result the next day then I tend to lose interest real quick or move on to something else. I am also trying to change waiting till last minute to do things as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your service and I agree discipline is a true path to guaranteed success.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your service, Wayne. I know it's not easy coming back to education, especially after serving in the military. I have many family members who didn't push themselves to complete their education after serving. It's very impressive that you are able to do so!
ReplyDeleteFirst thing, thank you for your service Sir. It is great to hear you are chasing your education with motivation and well said, no one else but yourself are the one standing on your way.
ReplyDeleteI agree and love how you said you are the only one who is standing on your way. I can relate to you because when you are starting a new journey or challenge, your biggest enemy is yourself and your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteIts very nice to see people determined and pushing themselves to go further.
ReplyDeleteYou served in the military and are getting a higher education. Well done...
ReplyDeleteThat statement of you being your own obstacle is great because in the end your the only one who know your own limits.
ReplyDeleteLove to see you decided to come back and get your education. Thanks your service Sir!
ReplyDeleteI could not agree with you more. I'm sure you've heard the saying "we are our own worst enemy." I definitely feel like I have gotten in my own way at times. I'll take this as a sign (and reminder) to make sure I don't let that happen again with regard to my education journey. I'm right there with you Wayne.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your service and welcome back to school. I can totally relate to you. I have been out of school for over thirty years, I just came back this year myself. Good luck in your academic journey.
